We Need Your Help

Er .. we WILL need your help to make the 2012 GranFondo the best ever. And it’ll be here sooner than we all think.

Our volunteers are some seriously top drawer folks and we’re extremely thankful for all they do to make this event possible. Without them, we’d never be able to pull this party off. For that reason, we make sure our volunteers get fed and t-shirted for working their shift and, by way of further thanks, we throw all our volunteers a post-Fondo party, complete with beer, wine, food, prize raffles, and a lot of handshakes from Levi. It’s probably your best bet to meet the guy, if that interests you.

Nearer the event, we’ll be announcing volunteer shifts, tasks, and locations. You’ll be able to use our own online volunteer signup system to plug yourself in as you like. Don’t be afraid to sign up for multiple shifts both on-course and at the Finley Center, especially in the weeks before the day of the actual GranFondo. And don’t think that just because you’re riding means you can’t fit any volunteer time in–many of our riders volunteer before and/or after riding the GranFondo, bless their hearts.

Our on-bike marshal spots are already filled, but many on-course opportunities still exist, including rest stop staffing and stationary course marshaling, so don’t worry about getting a place in the sun come event day (or before it. Or after it.).
