On Saturday, April 13th from 7:55 am to 8:30 am, the Levi’s GranFondo bike ride launches from the Windsor Town Green. As many as 1,500 riders will depart en masse along a designated route as they leave the Town of Windsor at the beginning of the event. This notice is to inform you of the specifics of the impacts that relate to vehicle and bicycle traffic.
CLOSURES
IMPORTANT: Neighborhoods along Windsor River Road and Starr Road may not be able to enter the roads between 7:55 am and 8:40 am.
RESTRICTED ACCESS
PLEASE NOTE: Emergency vehicles and access will NOT be affected by road closures.

Roads that will see noticeably increased bicycle traffic between 7:55 am and 6:00 pm on Saturday 4/13 due to the event will include the following roads in order:

Live, amplified announcements will take place at Windsor Town Green between the hours of 7:45 am and 8:30 am, and then again along with live music between 10:30 am and 5:00 pm.
THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN 7:30 AM AND 9:00 AM. IF MOST BICYCLE TRAFFIC IS CLEAR FROM THESE SECTIONS BEFORE 9:00 AM, THE ROADS WILL BE REOPENED BY CHP:

CHP will temporarily close Asti Rd. between Theresa Rd. and Charter Trucks 27000 Asti Rd. between 10:00 AM and 10:45 AM due to the number of cyclists. All businesses will remain open. Recommended detours are Asti Store Rd. to Santana Dr. for NB traffic and Santana Dr. to Asti Store Rd. for SB traffic.
After these time, cyclists will be spread out significantly and traffic impacts will be minimal. Please drive with caution and awareness.
