Mats Leckie is a dynamic 17-year-old cyclist with roots in mountain biking. Transitioning to a focus on gravel races with the backing of Sportful, Mats is eyeing the road racing scene for the upcoming season. His young career already boasts impressive achievements, including a 5th place at the 2023 Gravel National Championships (17-18 Men), a 10th at the 2023 Mountain Bike Marathon National Championships (17-18 Men), and remarkable performances at the Tahoe Trails 100k and 50k. Mats's talent also shone through at the Belgian Waffle Rides in San Diego and Arizona, securing top finishes among under-19 competitors.

Mats' first participated in Levi's GranFondo when he was 12 years old. Now he's back as a contender at the toughest road race in America.
