Griffin Easter is a former professional road cyclist and current gravel racer. He discovered cycling at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, where he joined the collegiate cycling team and won multiple national championships. After graduating, Easter raced professionally at the UCI Continental level for eight years, often alongside his brother Cullen Easter. Together, they competed in prestigious events like the Tour of Utah and La Vuelta a Colombia, where Griffin achieved a historic stage win in 2017.

As traditional road racing began to decline, Easter transitioned to gravel racing and co-founded the OpiCure Foundation with Cullen. The nonprofit uses cycling as a recovery tool for individuals battling opioid use disorder. Griffin serves as Vice President of OpiCure, which focuses on education, awareness, and programs like “Rider in Recovery,” providing resources for those in recovery to experience the transformative power of the bike.

Easter continues to race gravel events while dedicating himself to OpiCure’s mission. He and Cullen organize an annual fundraiser ride in Southern California to support their cause. Griffin’s career reflects not only athletic excellence but also a commitment to leveraging cycling to make a meaningful, and powerful impact for people confronting opioid use disorder.

Griffin and Cullen are proving that the bicycle always wins...
